Brandon Lopez, MBA

CEO and President

Brandon Lopez leads the ESI Healthcare Business Solutions (ESI) team as the CEO and President. He is responsible for making all day-to-day operation and financial decisions, while developing the path for ESI’s next generation data analytic technology and services. Brandon was also a Co-Owner of Estill Medical Technologies (exit Dec. 2021), the developer of the Thermal Angel Blood and IV Fluid Infusion Warming system. Thermal Angel is a standard of care within the United States Department of Defense (DOD), Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and national Hospital systems.

Outside of Brandon’s 25 years of owning and operating healthcare companies, he is an active venture capitalist serving as Chairman and CEO of Lopez Capital Group Inc. and managing partner of LJBB Investment Group. His portfolio of companies included Smoothie King (master franchisee for all stores located in Dallas), ViB Beverages, Critical Devices, Digital Convergence and Invincible Sportwear.

Brandon serves as a partner in Bonaventure Equity LLC. Established in 2014, Bonaventure Equity, LLC (“BVE”) is an innovative health sciences venture capital firm investing in cannabinoid and psychedelic medical discoveries inspired by nature, perfected through science.

Building on the success from the first fund, BVE launched its second fund BVE Select Fund II, L.P. and has made 11 investments to date.

Brandon earned an MBA in Finance from Texas Christian University (TCU) and a B.A in Marketing from Southern Methodist University (SMU). As a former NCAA Division I football athlete, Brandon enjoys keeping fit with activities involving his 5 pets.
